Amazon, in my opinion, is one of the best places to create your wedding registry!

Not only is it easy for guests to find your Amazon wedding registry but it’s also convenient for them to shop and it’s also much easier on you and your soon-to-be spouse!

Items ship directly to you and are easy to return if you get duplicates, which are inevitable, it seems. Plus after your big day, you will receive a 20% discount on select items fulfilled by Amazon. You can purchase anything left on your list and save up to $300 on your order!

I highly recommend creating a wedding registry on Amazon if you haven’t yet. It’s extremely easy to put together—my husband and I set ours up in a single evening.

I was living in my own apartment at the time so I already had the basics. This allowed us to replace some of the older hand-me-down items I had (goodbye, discolored floral Crockpot from my parent’s wedding!) and add new items that would be helpful for our now shared apartment.

It can be difficult to know what items would benefit you the most, so today I’m sharing the top ten most-used items, in order, from our Amazon wedding registry! Hopefully, I can inspire you to add an essential item or two to your new registry.

#1 – Blackout Curtains

Blackout curtains were a new addition for me as I never used them before I got married. However, my husband is sensitive to light so we put a set on our Amazon wedding registry.

Blackout curtains make it so much easier to sleep soundly and will improve your overall quality of sleep!

It’s a simple (and easy to forget) item, but it is the most-used item from our wedding registry.

#2 – Glass Tupperware

When creating our wedding registry we decided it was well past time to throw out those old, orange-stained and white-speckled plastic food storage containers. Instead, we registered for some glass Pyrex Tupperware that would last for years!

We chose to add both the 18 and 24pc Pyrex glass Tupperware sets so we’d have plenty of containers for leftovers and lunches.

I highly recommend going that route! We’ve now been married a little over a year and our glass Tupperware dishes still look brand new!

#3 – Instant Pot/Air Fryer Combo

The only reason the Instant Pot isn’t our #1 most-used item is because we don’t cook every day, but we do sleep and eat out of our Tupperware containers every day.

I’d say at least 70-80% of the meals we make are made in our pressure cooker. They taste better and cook faster, and I just can’t say enough good things about it.

Trust me, you need one on your registry, and I’d highly recommend the 8 Quart Instant Pot/Air Fryer combo! It’s two appliances in one with plenty of space to cook a large batch of food (because it probably won’t be just the two of you forever!).

#4 – Glass Baking Dishes with Lids

Most of the kitchenware on our registry came with lids, and for a good reason—they make transporting and storing food so easy!

These glass baking dishes are our most-used glass pans! It’s so convenient to put the lid over your half eaten lasagna and put the whole pan in the fridge for later.

If you’re looking for other favorite kitchen items with lids, we also got a set of glass mixing bowls with lids and cookie sheets with lids that we also love!

#5 – Laundry Drying Rack

Newlyweds aren’t known for having much extra living space to go around, which is why a collapsible drying rack comes in handy!

You don’t need to have a full-blown laundry room in your apartment in order to air-dry clothing, this laundry drying rack will quickly and easily expand when you need it and collapse when you don’t.

No need to shrink any of your shirts because you don’t have the space to hang dry them!

#6 – Wire Shelf Liners

If your living space is seriously lacking in storage space, these wire shelves and shelf liners are a must!

Before getting married I had one wire shelving unit that was used as a makeshift pantry. When registering for wedding gifts, we decided to add a second one to our registry and a couple of sets of shelf liners, which we’re so glad to have received!

While the wire shelving unit itself wasn’t purchased, we used our 20% Amazon wedding registry completion discount and some Amazon gift cards that we received as wedding gifts to put toward the purchase!

#7 – Luggage Set

A luggage set is an essential wedding registry item that’s often forgotten about! This is the set we got from our wedding, and we love it!

These suitcases have been on an Alaskan cruise, a Hawaii trip, and several overnight trips to visit family. They’ve been a few places and have been awesome! We especially love the zipper lock and the 4 easy-roll wheels on each one.

You won’t regret this versatile luggage set!

#8 – Stackable Cooling Racks

My husband and I always enjoy cooking and baking together, but we often run into challenges when it comes to counter space while baking.

These stackable cooling racks are a major space-saver, you can fit three racks of baked goods in the space a single rack takes up! If you love to bake, these are for you.

#9 – Rice Cooker

This rice cooker was another hand-me-down replacement item that we use all the time!

We eagerly tossed our old rice cooker with its heavily worn ‘non-stick’ coating and tendency to bubble over. This digital rice cooker with an enclosed snap-in-place lid and keep-warm setting was an amazing upgrade!

#10 – Camp Chairs

We are often asked to bring our own chairs to get-togethers with friends and family, but before getting married we didn’t have our own set. Camp chairs were definitely making it onto the registry!

My husband found these sweet reclining camp chairs and they’ve been great! They are the perfect blend of fun, practical, and relaxing and are the perfect for your next on-the-go adventure!
